The cheese is matured on a ray mat. This may result in mould developing on the cheese with is a normal part of the maturation process and gives the "Chavignole Crottin" it’s distinctive character.

Sheep's milk ricotta homemade with local pasteurized milk. With its soft mild flavor, it goes perfectly with savory and sweet dishes. For an ideal degustation, take out of the fridge 1-2 hours before eating.
Store under refrigeration at max 5°C. Made in Switzerland, packaged in a protective atmosphere. Certified by Marguerite. A very fine cheese in the mouth.
